Enjoy a rewarding career helping to end Minnesota’s pet overpopulation problem!

Minnesota Spay Neuter Assistance Program (MN SNAP) offers high-quality, affordable and accessible spay and neuter services to low-income communities, animal shelters, 501(c)(3) rescue organizations and feral cat caretakers. MN SNAP started the first mobile surgery service in Minnesota and, together with its North Minneapolis stationary clinic, has subsidized more than 90,000 surgeries since April 2010.

MN SNAP was founded by a local veterinarian who wanted to drastically reduce the number of unwanted litters surrendered to and put to sleep in area shelters. Each mobile veterinary team consists of one D.V.M. and three veterinary technicians that work on MN SNAP’s mobile clinic seven days per week. Our mobile clinic is a 33-foot, custom-built RV, complete with a prep table, a surgery suite with two heated tables, a walk-on scale and 20 cages. Each team performs an average of 30 to 35 surgeries per day.
