We just wrapped up a week at Awesiinyag are Loved Pet Clinic in Red Lake Nation featuring spay/neuter surgeries, wellness exams and vaccines and have many highlights (and cute pet pics) to share. Chi-miigwech (big thanks) to community clinic host Awesiinyag are Loved and wellness partners Secondhand Hounds and University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine SIRVS (Student Initiative for Reservation Veterinary Services) and clinic site host Red Lake Nation College.

Through the week we sterilized: 25 female cats, 37 male cats, 31 female dogs, 26 male dogs and two male rabbits — that’s 121 companion animals total! We were honored to be involved in this community-led effort.
