Celebrating 200K Surgeries and 14 Years of MN SNAP!

In April we celebrated our 14th Anniversary and 200000th surgery with a gathering at our headquarters for staff, board members, volunteers, supporters and their pets and loved ones! The event featured door prizes donated by Chuck & Don’s Pet Food & Supplies – Hudson, Wis., NutriSource, and Earth Animal; a pet and people photo station; kid’s activities; tours of our mobile surgery unit; and special dedications.
It was a memorable afternoon filled with great conversation, reminiscing, and many dogs!
We also unveiled our 200,000th patient, Maaji!
Despite the milestones, we remain focused on the work ahead. Demand for our services is at an all-time high and continues to climb; rising veterinary costs underscore the importance of accessible spay/neuter; and the ongoing fight against pet overpopulation persists.
But MN SNAP is ready to meet challenges and grow as we continually work to help as many people and pets as possible across Minnesota.
Here’s to 14 more years of MN SNAP and another 200k surgeries!
