Volunteers move MN SNAP’s mission forward
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with MN SNAP!
We greatly appreciate your willingness to give your time and energy to support our veterinary staff and help us deliver exceptional service to clients. As a non-profit organization, we rely heavily on the support of volunteers like you to ensure we can provide the best possible care.
To apply as a volunteer, we have an easy and convenient online registration form for you to fill out. It only takes a few minutes to complete, so we can gather the necessary information to match your skills and interests with our current needs.
Here is a list of the roles in which we currently have volunteer opportunities:
- Laundry support volunteer role will ensure clean and sanitized towels, washcloths, and blankets for our organization. Our laundry may be infected with animal pathogens. This role has two shifts available, which can be combined into one longer shift: 9 am-12 pm or 12 pm-4 pm, Monday-Friday, and some weekends. However, the days and frequency of volunteering are flexible. *We are currently in need of a volunteer for Thursday afternoon (12-4pm)
- Check-in volunteer role is responsible for greeting clients, verifying details, and handing out pagers. This role spends time outdoors and stands; hours are 7:45 am to 10:00 am, Monday-Friday, and on some weekends. However, the days and frequency of volunteering are flexible. *We are currently in need of volunteers for Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.
- Reminder call volunteer role will call clients to remind them of the date, time, location, and other specific information regarding surgery appointments for their pets. This is a work-from-home role, and we offer a flexible schedule.
To apply as a volunteer, please visit our online application form, linked at the bottom of this page. We will review your application, and if we have openings, the MN SNAP Volunteer Coordinator will contact you to discuss further your application, potential duties, training, scheduling, and other considerations.
