MINNESOTA'S ONLY YEAR-ROUND SPAY/NEUTER MOBILE CLINIC

Through low cost spay and neuter surgeries and core vaccinations for cats and dogs MN SNAP collaborates with communities across Minnesota to increase access to affordable veterinary care. MN SNAP’s mission is accomplished via a mobile surgery clinic and a stationary clinic in North Minneapolis.

Since 2010, MN SNAP has completed more than 200,000 surgeries in partnership with low-income families and nonprofit rescues and shelters. MN SNAP patients receive an exam before every procedure, are anesthetized and operated on using the most current surgical techniques and equipment and go home the same day.

Founder: Dr. Kim Culbertson

Dr. Kim Culbertson founded MN SNAP on April 20, 2010 to fill Minnesota’s unmet need for wide-scale and affordable spay and neuter surgeries to the public. Since that day she has worked tirelessly to advance and grow the mission impacting countless animals and clients while inspiring team members, mentees, volunteers, supporters and partners. She led MN SNAP as Medical Director until December 2023.

All MN SNAP operations continue to use the same high standards developed, innovated and maintained by Dr. Kim. We provide high-quality and accessible spay and neuter surgeries to those in need and do everything to honor and uphold Dr. Kim’s legacy, years of service and unwavering determination to end the suffering of Minnesota cats, dogs and rabbits due to overpopulation.
