COVID-19 Update

MN SNAP is committed to the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, clients and patients during this uncertain time. As of March 16, 2020, MN SNAP clinics will remain open. MN SNAP staff members and volunteers with respiratory illness have been asked to stay home, and staff and volunteers who display signs of respiratory illness will be sent home. We ask the same of our clients. Please do not bring in your pet for surgery if you are coughing, sneezing or feverish. You will be asked to leave the clinic if you are ill, and we will not provide surgery for your pet that day. We will work with you to reschedule your pet’s appointment.

If you are well, please follow social distancing recommendations (six feet) to the extent possible when checking in to a MN SNAP clinic. In order to limit the number of people in our lobby, check-in times at MN SNAP headquarters are: 8 a.m. – female dogs, 8:30 a.m. – male dogs, 9 a.m. – female cats, 9:30 a.m. – male cats and rabbits. Check-in times for mobile clinics will be communicated to clients via phone call and will be posted on site.

Use hand sanitizer before check-in and again after you leave. Wash your hands with soap and water as soon as you can when you return to your home or work. Do the same when you pick up your pet later in the day.

In the event a MN SNAP clinic must be closed, we will alert our clients with as much notice as we can provide. Thank you in advance for helping us keep people and pets safe!
