FurryTail Ball 2024 was an extraordinary celebration marking MN SNAP’s milestone of 200,000 surgeries completed in 14 years!
Attendees helped raise nearly $250,000 in support of MN SNAP’s statewide mission to provide accessable spay and neuter surgeries to families in need, rescue and shelter organizations and community cats throughout Minnesota.
Hosted at the stunning Fillmore Minneapolis, guests enjoyed a fun evening filled with delicious food, signature cocktails, endless photo opportunities, great music, VIP swag bags from Chuck & Don’s Hudson, treats for our furry friends from NutriSource, fun activities and even adoptable puppy cuddles thanks to our rescue partner, Ruff Start Rescue!
MN SNAP’s Executive Director, Jodi Buckman, highlighted MN SNAP’s far-reaching impact, describing how the event united community leaders, volunteers, donors and clients who have all benefited from accessible veterinary care.
Rick and Britt Gage through their Gage Family Foundation generously matched donations during the evening’s giving moment. Rick and Britt said: “MN SNAP has been one of the great passion projects of our lives. It has also been one of the most effective uses of our time and ‘treasure.’ It has been a pleasure being there since the beginning and we are so excited for MN SNAP’s next act.”
The success of FurryTail Ball 2024 not only celebrated the incredible achievement of 200,000 surgeries but also reinforced our commitment to improving the lives of countless animals across Minnesota, keeping pets with the people who love them.

A look back at FurryTail Ball 2023!
We are still dusting the glitter off from FurryTail Ball 2023 and can’t thank you enough for your generous support of MN SNAP.
The stunning Fillmore Minneapolis was filled with people who are crucial to our success, and we are so grateful!
We are happy to announce we raised more than $250,000 (while having a good time, too) including a special thank you to Nancy Harms, who matched our Fund-A-Need moment thanks to her and her generous personal and dog coaching clients. Although the tattoos may have been temporary, the memories and connections will last forever.
