Thank you, Dr. Kim Culbertson

After founding MN SNAP and more than 13 years of service as Medical Director, it is with heavy hearts we announce the departure of Dr. Kim Culbertson.

Dr. Kim conceived the idea of and officially founded MN SNAP on April 20, 2010 to fill Minnesota’s unmet need to provide wide-scale and affordable spay and neuter services to the public. Since that day she has worked tirelessly to advance and grow the mission impacting countless animals and clients while inspiring team members, mentees, volunteers, supporters and partners.

Beyond MN SNAP, she continues to be an incredibly active, trusted and respected leader, volunteer and advocate throughout the Minnesota animal welfare community. We are so grateful for her brilliant, thoughtful approach and dedication to doing the right thing for animals, people and the planet during every opportunity or challenge. Her presence at MN SNAP will be deeply missed.

MN SNAP is committed to use the same high standards developed, continually innovated and maintained by Dr. Kim. We are also determined to honor and uphold her legacy, years of service and unwavering determination to end the suffering and unnecessary death of Minnesota cats, dogs and rabbits due to overpopulation.
